My path to real estate may appear varied, but in truth, each experience prepared me for this role. Ten years as a newspaper advertising representative strengthened my networking abilities, taught me the value of initiative, and gave me the confidence to connect with people from all walks of life.
In the years following Hurricane Katrina, I worked as a new home specialist, assisting families who were rebuilding not just their homes, but their lives. That experience shaped my ability to truly listen—not only to what is said, but to what is left unspoken—and to understand the unique dynamics of every household. It was there that I developed a deep appreciation for creating spaces that genuinely serve the people who live in them.
Later, as a Lowe's Pro Specialist working with contractors, investors, and landlords, I gained valuable insight into the needs of those who build, renovate, and invest. By treating every client with the same level of respect—regardless of the size of their project—I earned lasting relationships and loyalty that continue to this day.
